Becoming a Paramedic

When should I start?

I just graduated from secondary school last June, and I had one of the best summers of my life doing many activities with family and friends. When I was 6 years old, I broke my left arm during karate practice and I went to the hospital in the ambulance. It was a stressful moment but I remember admiring the paramedics. To see the big yellow car with all the medical materials impressed me a lot. Since then, I have always wanted to become like them. Now it's the time. I did not have a part-time job during secondary school so my money is very limited and I need money to pay for my semester and for all of my books. Should I work full time for a year before applying? Or should should I start this year spending almost all my money for school?

Choice 1 : Work a year before apply to the program.

Choice 2 : Start this years with less money.

question

Work a year before apply to the program.

Great, after working 30 hours per week for almost a year, I will have plenty of money for school and for many other things. I might not work during school and focus on my study.

Choice 1 : Stay in Quebec.

Choice 2 : Going somewhere else.

money

Start this years with less money.

Well, this is not stupid because I can spend less money during my technique and finish it all a year before and getting well-paid as a paramedic. Now I need to decide if I stay in Quebec to study or if I go somewhere else.

Choice 1 : Stay in Quebec.

Choice 2 : Go somewhere else.

Study

Stay in Quebec.

Quebec is a nice place to study. I live there since I am a kid and I know the place well. Study in Quebec is not very expensive compared to other country. It seems like I need to endure the snow for a long time again!

Choice 1 : Study in Montreal At Ahuntsic college.

Choice 2 : Study in Sherbrooke.

Quebec

Going somewhere else.

Write this part of the story here and present your reader with choices.

Choice 1 : Go to Toronto.

Choice 2 : Go to Florida.

earth

Study in Montreal At Ahuntsic college.

Ahuntsic is the bigger and the most popular college for this technique. There is a section in the college only for the paramedic where I would spend almost all my time. Normally the technique can be done in 3 years, but a lot of students expend it to a 4 year technique because the charge of work is to big and there is a big risk of failing some courses. Should I try to do the technique in 3 years or should I be safe and do it in 4 years?

Choice 1 : Do it all in 3 years.

Choice 2 : Do it in 4 years.

Ahuntsic college

Study in Sherbrooke.

This is the second most popular college in Quebec for the technique, I'm going to be find there!

The work charge was more intense that I thought and I failed my first bio course and I don'k know what to do. Should I try to study in other program or I stay here and try to pass this course next year even if this failure can extend my technique?

3 years later, I am now a day before my big exam to officially become a paramedic. It's been several days that I study a lot for this exam and I think I am ready.
