They arrived in the village at 5:30 p.m., and because she was exhausted from the long journey, she fell asleep in her chamber, forgetting to close the window and tie Eiba, so Eiba got a chance to fly away. When she awoke the next morning, she looked for Eiba but couldn't find it; there was no Eiba in her bed, and she remembered that she had forgotten to tie Eiba the night before due to exhaustion, so she searched her entire house and even their backyard but found no Eiba. She sobs uncontrollably, knowing that she has lost her only friend, her only companion through her ups and downs. She has been searching for Eiba for how many hours, but there isn't even a shadow of Eiba? So, his father comforted Legna, saying, "Let's wait patiently for Eiba's return; I'm sure she'll be well, and I'm certain she'll find her way home soon." They needed to return to the city since it was their second day there, but Legna couldn't stop crying because she was so frustrated that Eiba was still not with them.

Choice 1 : ALL ABOUT THE BOOK.
Choice 2 : REALIZATION.
The author of this story is Angel Joliana Perez. And the target readers' ages range from 9 to 16 years old. The meaning behind the title is that if you look up the meaning of the words "boiling frog," you'll find that it refers to a safe haven. Nevertheless, if you put a frog in boiling water, it will jump out, but if you put it in cold water that is slowly heated, it will not recognize the danger and will be roasted to death. So, I use "boiling frog" as a metaphor for Legna's life story, in which she was afraid to face the world and did not want to leave her comfort zone. If she does not try to explore, if you do not step outside of your comfort zone, at the end of the day, she will also be the one to suffer. The moral of this story is that if you're reading this right now, it's time for you to come out of your shell, to not settle for less, to not be afraid to face reality and to try new things. Sometimes, we put a wall between ourselves and the world because we're afraid of failure, but I'm telling you, don't be discouraged by it; instead, learn from it and move forward. May you overcome your fear and soar to your dreams like an eagle.
